High Fire Danger

High When the fire danger is "high", fires can start easily from most causes and small fuels (such as grasses and needles) will ignite readily. Unattended campfires and brush fires are likely to escape. Fires will spread easily, with some areas of high-intensity burning on slopes or concentrated fuels. Fires can become serious and difficult to control unless they are put out while they are still small. Mowing or edging generally be done in the morning. Mowing, edging, or clearing dead vegetation should be limited to the morning hours. Having a nearby source of water may be helpful.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Lathrop-Manteca Fire Protection District will conduct a Public Hearing to adopt the following Resolutions: Resolution #2020-09, 2019-2020 Fire Facility Fee Report

The Public Hearing will be conducted on October 15th , 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lathrop City Hall, 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, California. Members of the public will at the above specified time and place, be given an opportunity to present oral and written information regarding the issue. The Regular Board Meeting will immediately follow the Public Hearing.
